Los Cabos Golf Courses go through their annual Maintenance during the summer season.
Some courses will shut down the entire course for a few days while they punch greens, crosscut fairways, or make major changes. Other courses such as the 27 hole Puerto Los Cabos are able to remain open, by closing 9 holes at a time, leaving 18 holes available for play.
NOTE: Dates below are planned maintenance dates. These dates can change depending on a variety of factors including weather.
Club Campestre - 2026
Club Campestre San Jose golf course closes for 2 days in June and then again in August to aerate greens and fairways.
During the 3 weeks following this maintenance, Campestre offers special rates on the course.

Cabo del Sol Desert Course will be performing their annual maintenance in June and September.

As of 1 Nov 2026, Cabo Real will close it’s doors for public play. They will be performing major modifications to the layout and it will re-open as a private course.
Solmar Golf Links 2026
Solmar Links will be going through it’s annual Maintenance from July – August. They will close each 9 for 2 days (on 2 separate occasions) for Greens Aerification twice during this time. Greens will take approx 2-3 weeks to recover after Aerification.

Puerto Los Cabos - 2026
Puerto Los Cabos is a 27 Hole Golf Course and as such will will remain open with 18 holes in good condition during the entire maintenance season.

The Cabo San Lucas Country Club will be undergoing maintenance during May 26-28, then again from Aug 25 – 27. Discounted rates are offered during this time.

Tee-box leveling, bunker maintenance and fairway aerification will also be performed during June, July and August. This should not affect play.
